Florida Springs

Headed to Florida for a vacation and you don’t know what to do other than visit the beaches and see Mickey the Mouse.

Well did you know that Florida has more than 700 springs. The most in the whole world(mind blowing right)

The springs offer you natural clear water ,wild life and 72 degree year round water.

Not all springs are accessible by car and can only be located by water craft.

Some of the springs offer camping but not all.

While visiting a spring you may be able to kayak, paddle board, swim , picnic and even have a pancake breakfast.

The wildlife that can be seen range from turtles , alligator gar, alligators, otters, fish, crab, bear, manatees and even wild monkeys ( Yes monkey in Florida)

The springs are separated by region

Which are:

Central Florida

North Florida

South Florida

Panhandle

We have checked off 8 springs and are aiming for 10 by the end of the year.

With the help of our Florida springs passport

We can check them off as we visit and the passport also comes with discounts to some of the activities at some of the springs. The passport has 20 springs that you can check off.

We have enjoyed visiting the springs and experiencing the natural side of Florida.

Grab your passport and start spring hopping.
